Cute Country Christmas card

Cute Country Christmas

Cute Country Christmas

-Stamps: “A Child Is Born” (manger scene & sentiment – from Stamps Happen, Inc), Itty Bitty Backgrounds

(always artichoke panel), Checkerboard (ruby red panel)

-Paper: Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa, Ruby Red, non-SU cream

-Ink: Basic Black, Always Artichoke, Versamark

-Accessories: brads, raffia ribbon

-Technique: Gamsol Magic (I use baby oil instead), sponging

What a fun card to work with. I pulled this cute little baby Jesus out of our loose stamps as soon as I opened that drawer and and got to work. The panel that baby Jesus is on is cut by hand (no punches!).

This was the perfect image to use the Gamsol Magic technique with also. Only, I don’t use any fancy gamsol or mineral spirits – I go for the cheap bulk size generic brand “baby oil” that you can find at your local Walmart. :0) Try it! It’s FUN!
