I don’t know about you, but 68 or so with some sun and a slight breeze is about perfect outdoor weather. Unless of course I’m just sitting still outdoors; then 76 will do. 🙂
Today was neither. As I sit here, at 7:40 pm at night, it is still 93.
Yes. You read that right.
Not exactly outdoor weather, which is why I spent much of my afternoon indoors, working on this pair of cards!

My mother-in-law’s birthday is just over a week away, and I was running out of time to get her card made. I’d thought as far as what theme I wanted, I had already planned on a bird theme and on making a pair of cards – one for her, and one for this week’s teapot recipient. When I saw the summer VSN challenge to use hummingbirds, the decision was made – off I went!
I am entering these two cards in the following challenges:
- JUN22VSNMINI3 – Hummingbirds
- CC900 / CC832 – Color Challege by LeAnn (n2scrappin)
- MMTPT725 – Cheery Chirps
- Simon Says Stamp
- Wednesday Challenge SSSWchallenge – Add a Sentiment
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today – you make my day when you do! 🙂
