Happy Cards for hard occasions | DancesWithHooves Paper Design

Good Saturday morning, everyone! I’m Im not in the craft room today (though it’s a lovely rainy day here and would be the perfect excuse to be!) but I thought I’d pop in to share what I’ve done in there this week and have en route to their intended recipients. Both cards are for ladies who are healing and could use a bit of cheer.

Click below to jump for more pictures and full details on today’s design!

The first is for the Splitcoaststampers Teapot Party this week, where we have the opportunity to bless a young just-turned-11 little girl with some happy mail. She’s currently navigating the journey involved with her brain tumor diagnosis.

Another Teapotter, who created a lovely fair card for Lillee, wrote that hers was a scene from a magical place where little girls don’t get brain tumors. Father, I pray you can bring this little girl healing here, on Your green earth.

The second is for our neighbor who just returned home from her fourth knee surgery and is getting a little tired of being so cooped up!

Inside, both cards read:

*By hugs, I mean this card.

I pray both girls can get a smile from opening their mail in the coming days.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today – you make my day when you do! 🙂

Blessings,

Chrissy
