Good morning and happy National Play-Doh Day! I LOVED Play-Doh as a kid, and silly putty – there was something about the feel of either of those in my hands, the squishing and the forming, that always brought me delight.
I am going to play “catch up” today by sharing a card I made earlier this summer for a birthday.

Admittedly, as an adult, I still feel the same way. I’ve been known to pick up a pack of one or the other every few years at a dollar store, should the opportunity arise. 🙂
I’m not sure that these kitties would enjoy playing with Play-Doh all that much… I mean, though the nostalgic smell brings nothing but warm memories to my heart, it doesn’t seem exactly appetizing. But the recipient for this card DOES love kitties, so…
This card was created for my boss, who I’ve had the pleasure of working for since a few months into the pandemic, but it wasn’t until about this time last year that it became “official.” She enjoys the hilarious aspects of cats just as much as I do, as well as their fluffy, purring, warm and soft sweetness.
I wanted to send her a little sweetness for her birthday this year, so came up with this for her. I had a great time playing with this adorable stamp set, and I hope you’ll enjoy seeing what came of the fun.
I entered this card in the following: (all challenges were current at the time I created the card – in MAY! (I warned you this was a catch-up post! 😂)
- CAS686 – Birthday
