I created this card as part of the stack of cards I am sending in for CFC02 Cards for a Cause: Chemo Angels. I was happy to see yesterday that the color challenge (CC188 B

asic Pirouettes – Pretty In Pink, Basic Black, Whisper White) incorporates a color scheme I was already considering to go with this quote I found on the web (and printed on white cardstock).

I used my slit punch to punch out the “ticket corners” on various parts of the card. The larger pink panel is embossed (using a Fiskars brand embossing template), and I sponged the corners of it with going gray ink as I tried one first with basic black but it turned out looking too purple.

I made four of these cards and six of another style for CF02 and I hope they all bring a little joy into the lives of their recipients!
