Calling ALL Bloggers-Join the Army of Women Blog for your breasts day!

On October 1, 2010, we are inviting BLOGGERS to use their voice through their BLOG to spread the word about the Love/Avon Army of Women. We are dedicating ONE day to reach ONE million women to sign up for the Army of Women by declaring October 1, 2010 the official Army of Women Day. We beseech all bloggers to blog about the Army of Women and empower women to take the next step by signing up and taking part in breast cancer research studies.  Together, we can move breast cancer beyond a cure and eradicate it once and for all.
Don’t have a blog?  You can still TAKE ACTION by updating your Facebook status on October 1st with the following:  “I signed up to STOP breast cancer before it STARTS.  Have you?  Join today at, then copy and paste this status update as your own”.  Remember, mark your calendars, for this Friday, Oct 1, 2010!

  •  Ok, so I’m getting around to this a good two days after I had hoped to be able to, but here’s the other card I made over the weekend!  A beloved family member is expecting her first child, and I made this card for her upcoming baby shower.

Again, please excuse the blurry cell-phone picture.  This card actually looks a lot cleaner in person!

If you could take a moment to let me know what you think, I would be ever so grateful.  Leave a link back to your blog or online gallery and I promise, as always, to return the favor!

    Blessings to you and yours,

  • Yes, I am still alive!  And I even managed to crank out TWO cards this weekend!  Yes, I said TWO – that’s amazing, seeing as I’ve only made about two cards TOTAL up until now since this time last year!

No time to elaborate on this one, but long story short it’s for an anniversary card for a couple that will be celebrating their 9th wedding anniversary in just over a week.

Please excuse the blurry cell phone picture.  Time was of the essence this morning and that was really the only option I had.

I’m saving the “best” (in my eyes at least) for last though and will hopefully find time later today to post the second card.  As always, please let me know what you think and I’ll return the favor if you leave a link!

    Blessings to you and yours,
