One of the things I love about the Splitcoast family is the environment of giving. We create so we can give a piece of ourselves to another. Each week, the Teapotter groupchooses a “guest of honor” to which those interested can shower with cards.
A couple of weeks ago, the guest of honor named was a young lady undergoing 30 days of treatment for cancer – and this is her fourth round of five total. Seeing this caught my eye, but when I saw she was a patient at the Mayo Clinic, my intent to participate was sealed.
Bright and cheery it would be!
Then I got the flu, and rather than risk sending anything ominous the way of her weakened immune system, I held off on working on her design until this past weekend. (In fact, I avoided that corner of our house as much as possible for this very reason) Feeling much, much better yesterday, I got busy making something cheerful.
And for a young lady, my thoughts zeroed in on just a few things: bright pink, unicorns and rainbows, and sparkle.
I think I got ’em all here. 🙂 (And I had a TON of fun putting this together!!!!)
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today – you make my day when you do! 🙂
Blessings,
Chrissy
