Hello! Popping in today with a fall card for which the idea has been swimming in my noggin for weeks. Believe it or not, I actually like the end result for once! (Usually I don’t much care for what these ideas end up looking like! lol)

Hi, all! I am working on scheduling out a few posts to play catch-up… a few of these have been in my SCS gallery already, but others will be new to both. 🙂 This one was already posted at SCS as it hit the mail about a month ago. And yes, I did get final/fresh pictures of the two fall/pumpkin cards from last week that I’ll be posting soon, too!
Today I’m sharing a card I made for August’s Tickle a Teapotter!

Even rough days have good points. Sometimes the Lord is really good in that He throws in some realllllyyyyy good things to fill your heart with cheer just before He knows something will go down that will not be so fantastic. But regardless, He is always good. 🙂
Saturday I had plans set aside to both make this month’s Teapotter Tickle card -and- follow the adorable bunny carton SCS tutorial to serve as the delivery vessel for my husband’s Easter “basket.” Long story short, other things came up and I wasn’t able to start on it until after work Monday… and finally got it finished last night.

I was super excited when I opened the Lawn Fawn Charity Grab Bag I ordered last December to find the adorable Simply Celebrate Spring stamp set! Of course, in December my creative thoughts included nothin’ but snow and cozy ambiance, but other than a few flower sets, my collection greatly lacked spring themed products, especially for “true Spring” occasions like graduations and the theme of today’s card (and this week!): St. Patrick’s Day!
I’ve likely never created a St. Patrick’s Day card (in my life), but they’ve always appealed to me – bright, happy, and full of one of my longtime favored colors: GREEN! Plus, I was positively dying to use the new scallop frame dies I ordered from My Favorite Things for my birthday recently – they are awesome in that they give you a big some of points for your birthday and I’ve been searching for dies like this for some time – so I grabbed ’em and got a discount – and had them at our door within THREE days! Holy smokes, MFT! THANK YOU! (And always – thank you for the jelly bean! I adore that and the happy tissue paper – it’s an extra delight to open a package from your company!!!)
