SC984 So Dam Much- Splitcoast Stampers Sketch for 3rd week of November! | DancesWithHooves Paper Design

Good morning, everyone! I have the pleasure of hosting one sketch a month in 2023 for SplitCoast Stampers, and today my first sketch for November is “live” and is ready for you to play with! Please come join me if you would like some creative inspiration today (and every 3rd Wednesday sketch for 2023!). {Yes I said “first!” There’s five Wednesdays this month, and I’ll be back to share with you a SECOND sketch on the 29th! 😁)

Today, I bring you the surprise I made – and left- for my husband in his lunch bag. Thankfully, he didn’t discover it until he got to work!

Halloween Gnomies Just Wanna Have Fun | DancesWithHooves Paper Design

Ah, to be a kid again! I remember looking forward with great anticipation to getting to play dress-up for much of the day, getting to “be” whomever I chose. For me, I remember a mix of things, but the pictures that stand out in my memory include a brown cat (not sure what rummage sale mom found that suit at – I was probably old enough to know I liked kitties and animals in general, but probably not old enough to speak their names!), ghosts, princess (what girl wasn’t?), an angel, Laura from Little House on the Prairie (one of my favorites!), and my all-time favorite: Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. (I told you that was my favorite movie as a kid! ;))

As an adult, we still need to have fun from time to time, though few of us allow that to happen much of at all. (Other’s are in the opposite camp, but that’s a story for someone else’s home on the web. 🙂 I decided to have a little fun this weekend with the sketch challenge posted by my friend Mary of Up North Stampin’. And fun I had! And a lot of inky fingers – better yet!

Happy Cards for hard occasions | DancesWithHooves Paper Design

Good Saturday morning, everyone! I’m Im not in the craft room today (though it’s a lovely rainy day here and would be the perfect excuse to be!) but I thought I’d pop in to share what I’ve done in there this week and have en route to their intended recipients. Both cards are for ladies who are healing and could use a bit of cheer.
