A stamping friend of mine recently told a few of us in our circle a very good friend of hers’ wife was in a bad car accident last week with their two young children – and simply put, the two children are in need of some prayers. She asked if any of us would be willing to send them a fun spring or Easter card, as their dad told her they really enjoyed getting the cards she would mail them on occasion.

CAS625 Unbelievable! | DancesWithHooves Paper Design

Yesterday started off kind of rough. I had grand plans to use my day off to be productive as well as get in a little fun. And the productive part was stressful (researching a purchase we need to make), followed by discovering something not wonderful amidst trying to tackle an “average” task afterward. By lunch, I was stressed, upset, and cranky. But my sweet husband, who was working from home, noticed my state when I came into the kitchen and came to give me a hug.

I tell you – the power of a hug is immense!

Sixth Anniversary Rustic Winter Outdoors Anniversary Card | DancesWithHooves Paper Design

As I write the title for this post I’m still in shock that it’s been six years since that perfect December day when I became the lucky wife of my incredible husband!

Admittedly, our Anniversary was nearly two weeks ago already, but I’ve just now taken the opportunity of a moment while the sun poked through the clouds to take a few pictures to share. 🙂
